AI Flow Fixer for n8n (“the Extension”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains our data practices.
Data Collection
The Extension does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data or user information to external servers.
Local Storage
The Extension may store user preferences and settings locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API. This data:
- Remains on your device only
- Is never transmitted to external servers
- Can be deleted by removing the extension
Permissions Usage
The Extension requests the following permissions solely for its core functionality:
- activeTab: To detect n8n workflow pages when you open them
- scripting: To inject the AI debugging interface into n8n pages
- sidePanel: To display the AI assistant interface alongside your workflows
- storage: To save your settings and preferences locally
- host permissions: To access and modify n8n workflow pages for debugging functionality
Third-Party Services
The Extension communicates with AI services (Claude API by Anthropic) only when you explicitly request workflow analysis or debugging. The data sent includes:
- Workflow structure and configuration (only when you click “Analyze”)
- Error messages from your workflows (only when you request debugging)
This data is processed according to Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
Data Security
- No personal information is collected
- No browsing history is tracked
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
- Workflow data is only sent to AI services when you explicitly request analysis
Children’s Privacy
The Extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
